I was surprised that the art was decent here, it is a definite improvement over Benes’ past work. The covers are awful, though. If they get a good cover artist moving forward, I would be at least okay with things.
I haven’t been exposed to much of Ed Benes’s artwork before, and the covers I’ve seen so far definitely made me uneasy. I was relieved to see that the interior art wasn’t so cheesecakey.
